Book Review: The Fan, Bob Randall

The novel, "The Fan" by Bob Randall is an hilarious story of a crazy fan of a very popular actress. The fan was totally attached to his "goddess" actress, Sally. He sends her series of letters which became overwhelming to the extent that the actress' secretary turned down his requests and trashed his letter. This now lead to a great problem for the poor secretary.
As time goes on, the fan became crazy and a fanatic love turned to chaos when Sally would not reply to his letters... Sally, on the other hand had no idea that there's one psycho fan around the corner craving hard to hear from her... Her carelessness soon caused trouble to her poor secretary who was brutalized by the fan.
When police tried to inquire into the matter, the policeman in charge of the case was also attacked by the fan. Then Sally now realized that more's at stake.

When it finally dawned on her to check the mails for the fan's address, he has stop putting his address in the letter and this did not help the police... More threats and horrors came in as Sally now realized that her life is in grave danger.

I love this story! It is an exceptional novel. The author's style is different from the normal novels that you read...
Have you ever somehow managed to go through someone's letters or mails or chats? That feeling is exactly what you'll feel when reading this novel..
The Fan is a superb, gripping suspense novel with humor, terror and unusual crazy format.
And then the greatest suspense is found at the end...
You may want to get yourself a copy of this book and read. It is a goodread!
