Alamu is a respectable and happy family man, with a well-paid job. Labake, his wife is loyal, loving, and caring.
All is blissful at home until one day Labake hears a strange chilling laughter. She does not know which way to turn. She was confused – sweet home turns sour as the husband which she now sees is no longer the man she married. Everything turned topsy-turvy as it was apparent that Alamu is out of his mind.
Coupled with the whole mad scenario, Labake’s mother-in-law would not allow her to breathe.

This my first African novel to be reviewed. However, I have read very many African novels (which I will be reviewing later on.
It was a nice novel.
My rating: 4 star.
