After Eustace, Lucy and Edmund came back from Narnia (of course in reality it was not more than three months or so but in Narnia, many years has passed), King Caspian’s wife, The Queen was killed by a snake (a witch). While Prince Rilian was searching for the snake that killed his mother the Queen; the witch (who happened to be the same snake that killed his mother) enslaved him and he went missing for ten Narnian years.

King Caspian lost hope of ever finding his son again and was worried about the future of Narnia. Moreover, he is now very weak and old.

Meanwhile, back at England in Eustace’s experiment school, he was trying to tell Jill Polly about his adventure in the myth land of Narnia during the break. While he was telling Jill all the fantasies, some bad guys came looking for Jill (in order to bully her). The duo ran away from the bullies… and then they found themselves in the land that Eustace was telling Jill about… And thus another adventure began – they were summoned by the great Lion (Aslan) to go rescue (or search for) the lost Prince Rilian.

When they reached Narnia, they were joined on their quest by a Marsh-wiggle (A more or less frog-like creature that talks like man and walks erect).

The great lion gave Jill four instructions, which were to help her in locating the prince… but soon, she forgot and it went bad for them. However, the great Lion appeared to Jill in the dream when they put themselves in the trap of the giants that planned to feast on them.

The adventure continued as they ran for dear life, they found themselves in the Dark World – A world of complete darkness -  where they met the Prince which they sought in a Silver Chair under the enchantment of the witch. The fate of the prince now lay in their hand as they were confused of what to do.

This is the part six of the story “The Chronicles of Narnia” by C.S. Lewis. This story, like the previous parts, is also interesting story.

It was a good read.

My rating: 5 star.

I will be moving on to the last part of the story: The Chronicles of Narnia (Part Seven) The Last Battle
