C.S Lewis is the author of the novel Out of the Silent Planet and the series of the Chronicles of Narnia. In this part one of the series of the novel The Chronicles of Narnia, Lewis depicted the creation of a new world – A wonderful world where the animals could speak like normal human being in our own world. Not only that, the novel shows that there are (probably) very many worlds and that there is a neutral phase (the Wood between the worlds) where there is tranquility and life continues in a neutral form until it (life) enters into a real world.

Also, the novel shows that there is (tendency of) communication and interaction between the worlds (Just as the author portrays in the novel Out of the Silent Planet).

In addition, the novel gave a clear picture of greediness and selfishness as well as the importance of love and friendship.

***
It is an entertaining novel that suits both young and adult readers.

It was a good read.

My rating: 4 star
