Peom: A Misfit's Harangue Series

In the comfort of an open field
How elephants wrestle to gain grounds
Oh beautiful nature and splendor
Who could foretell the end of this crash and burn

Ever willing to sound off my wonderment
Down in dumps is my heart to the weak
Whom the privilege strangles in quietude
Howbeit we all return in similitude

Take a moment to noodle over this
Man with insatiable wants collapses
In the quest for peace he welcome,
troubles, nursing her children

Man was never created for man
We have indeed lost our sight of our mecca
A tantrum one to another
Till the once endowed earthling fades.

Let go of what you cling to
Nothing is yours, can't you see?
It's only a test, goodness me
Amity starts where conflict halts.
