There once lived a man who married a very beautiful wife. Few months after their marriage, the wife got pregnant and the couple were excited and happy. The husband always tell the wife that the baby should be a beautiful girl, even more beautiful than the wife.
After nine month, the wife gave birth. It was a girl. The man was excited and happy. Then... They discovered that the baby girl is right-hand-crippled. The only hand that formed normal was the left hand. The couple were not happy with this defect. So, the husband wanted surgical operation to correct the crippled hand. During the surgical analysis of the crippled hand, the doctors discovered that they cannot correct the defect, so they advised the couple to let the baby be like that.
The husband was not happy with this. He told the wife that he wants a beautiful daughter not a crippled daughter. The wife said that, that was how God designed it. They argued over it and the husband wanted them to kill the innocent baby. He told his wife; "sweetheart, you know we will get another baby pretty soon". The wife shouted back; "do you think having baby is easy like that?", "how sure are you that we're destined to have more than one child?"; what if we did not have the grace to conceal another child again?" And many more questions like that.
The husband then calmed down and told the wife "okay, sweetheart. I agree with you but you will have to agree with me on this; let's keep the child for now. Once we get another pregnancy and we have a new child, we will kill this crippled child". The wife was speechless. She loved her baby as much as she loved her husband.
After two years, they had another baby boy, handsome and cute. The crippled child was also growing fast and she had also started pre-nursery school... This crippled girl started performing excellently well at school such that her teacher discovered that, even though she was small, her intelligent quotient is more higher than the class she was at the very beginning.
At the age of four, she started secondary advanced mathematics and her IQ was rated excellently high compare to other kids. As she grew up, she became the most outstanding student in her school and everybody loves her.
At the age of six, the little girl represented her school in several quiz competitions and was always victorious.
The little brother, on the other hand, grew up to be a bad boy who doesn't care about his parent. And joined the bad boys on the street. He had never for once stayed in school and always cause trouble around. Several times, he caused troubles that land him in jail.
The husband then realized that beauty is in the heart, not in the face. He knelt down to his wife and apologized for the evil mind he had over their most valued treasure - their baby girl.
